WHAT BIBI WANTS, BIBI GETS

America’s de facto President stages a dog and pony show in Tel Aviv

Netanyahu claims Israel has proof that Iran lied and violated 2015 nuclear treaty

Have you ever seen any head of state give a speech in which he used slides and props like a computer salesman?

I have not. The closest any politician came to it in my experience was Ross Perot. The former head of the then largest computer services company in the world, used charts and graphs in his 1992 presidential campaign as if he were at an IBM board meeting to make his case against NAFTA and other globalist projects.

But Perot was not a head of state. So this evening, Israel’s prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu made history when he used slides, charts and props to make his case that Iran has lied and violated the 2015 nuclear treaty.

“After signing the nuclear deal in 2015, Iran intensified its efforts to hide its secret files,” he said. “In 2017 Iran moved its nuclear weapons files to a highly secret location in Tehran.”

Netanyahu explained that “half a ton” of documents from the secret Iranian archives were obtained by Israel in “a great intelligence achievement.” He claimed that the files contain incriminating evidence that Iran has been working to develop a nuclear bomb as part of a program called “Project Amad.”

You can watch the entire Bibi dog and pony show here which was broadcast nationally this evening out of Tel Aviv.

I watched it. By chance. I was searching for something on the web when Bibi’s speech popped up on Fox News.

When he was finished, I must say Netanyahu made a strong case against Iran. And for why Donald Trump should pull the US out of the Iran nuclear treaty on May 12. But there is always the other side of a coin.

But he offered no real explanation how “half a ton” of Iran’s most sensitive nuclear documents were snatched away by Israel from Iran’s top secret site. That sounds like something right out of a James Bond film. And as we all know, Bond was a fictional character.

For all we know, both Bibi’s slides and those document files could be mockups. In other words, fake. Just like that nuclear bomb cartoon the Israeli prime minister embarrassed himself with when he paraded it before the United Nations General Assembly in September 2012.

“TRUST BUT VERIFY”

So before Trump wholeheartedly embraced everything Netanyahu said today as gospel truth (which the US president has already done!), he should have heeded the advice of one of his predecessors. It was Ronald Reagan who coined the phrase “trust but verify” when he negotiated with Gorbachev, the head of the Soviet Union in the 1980s.

Alas, this is 2018, And Trump’s Middle East policy can be summed up as “trust and bombast.” And bomb anyone Israel considers an enemy.

Netanyahu’s dog and pony show also brought back memories of two other historical events – one from business, another from political history.

THE IBM S/360 DECEPTION

During the half a century of the two Watson’s leadership, IBM had built up a reputation of being lily white and holier than Thou when it comes to telling the truth. The 1956 Consent Decree, in fact, compelled it to do so.

So when IBM announced its now legendary S/360 line of computers in April 1964, which changed the world of computing for ever, few people had even an inkling that some of the computer models on display were cardboard or wooden cutouts. The world had to wait 26 years for IBM to come clean.

IBM 360 announcement

Tom Watson Jr, the IBM CEO who made the announcement, fessed up in his 1990 autobiographical book “Father, Son & Co”

“Not all of the equipment on display was real,” Watson wrote.  “Some units were just mock-ups made of wood..”

He claimed, in an effort to exculpate himself, that IBM had disclosed that “to our guests.” But even this writer, who spent over 8 years with IBM during the mainframe hay days, and several decades following the company as an analyst, had never heard of this 1964 IBM deception until 1990. (see Mainframe at 40, Apr 2004).

NETANYAHU: SHOW US THE BEEF

So if even the pristine IBM was capable of such a ruse, why should we trust Bibi’s slides and props? After all, we know that when he said, “Iran lied; big time,” it was the pot calling the kettle black.

Which takes us back to Regan’s “trust but verify.” I did not hear Netanyahu saying that he invited Iran’s friends and allies, like Russia, Lebanon, Venezuela etc., to verify the authenticity of the “half a ton” of documents Israel supposedly stole from Iran.

Until such time that an independent body of international experts affirms that what Netanyahu said is true, we have no more reason to believe him than we did Iran when that country claimed that it had ended its nuclear weapons program.

So a wise independent observer should keep his mind open. and not be swayed by a powerful visual marketing pitch Netanyahu delivered today. As Trump was, for example.

But then, that’s how “stable geniuses” behave. They think they know everything and do not require proof.

UPDATE APRIL 15, 2018

WHO’S AMERICA’S BOSS? NIKKI OR DONALD? ACTUALLY, NEITHER. IT IS BIBI.

Nikki Haley reverses Trump, says US troops are to stay in Syria

She is “a tsunami of fresh air,” Israel’s PM Netanyahu lauds Haley

The US will not pull its troops out of Syria until its goals are accomplished there, US Ambassador to the UN, Nikki Haley, has said. The US currently has over 2,000 troops in Syria and a number of contractors.

Haley added that the US wants to ensure that chemical weapons are not used in a way that is of risk to US interests, Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS) is defeated, and Iran’s actions are monitored.“Be very clear, if we leave, when we leave, it will be because we know that everything is moving forward,” Haley added (click here for more).

Yet less than three weeks ago, Donald Trump, who is ostensibly Nikki’s boss, and the US president, said the opposite:

“We’re knocking the hell out of ISIS. We’ll be coming out of Syria like very soon. Let the other people take care of it now,” Trump said at an Ohio public event. “We are going to get back to our country, where we belong, where we want to be.” (Mar 29, 2018 – see LIKE CUBA, LIKE SYRIA?).

This was not the first time Nikki had contradicted Donald and successfully sabotaged the President’s overtures toward peace. Last July, Trump and Putin met for the first time on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Hamburg, Germany,. And it was love at first sight.

“I had a tremendous meeting yesterday with President Putin,” Trump said on July 8  while speaking with UK Prime Minister Theresa May.

It must have been. The meeting was scheduled to last 30-40 minutes. It went on for 2:16 hours. Even Melania could not pry her husband away from Putin (see https://wp.me/p3QU1S-2kr).

But Nikki did.

‘We cannot trust Russia & we won’t ever trust Russia’ – she squawked the same day in a CNN interview.

This was the Truth in Media comment the same day (July 8):

Right on cue. Now it remains to be seen who is in charge here – Trump or the NWO foreign policy masters.

If it is the former, Trump should fire Haley immediately for insubordination. It is the President, not the UN ambassador, who makes foreign policy.

And if Trump does not, then well… we’ll also have an answer as to who is in charge, won’t we?”

Less than three weeks later, we got our answer. Haley and her backers won. Trump backed down. And a new round of Russia sanctions was imposed (see Who’s whose flunkey? – Nikki Haley: Another Adherent of the Nothing Creed, Dec 2017).

And Nikki scored for again in December 2017, when Trump announced that the US would recognize Jerusalem as capital of Israel (see ANOTHER DAY WHICH WILL LIVE IN INFAMY).

What dives Nikki such power?

It’s not what. It’s who. And in a word, it is Bibi.

Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel’s prime minister, seems to be her real boss and biggest fan.

In early March, Netanyahu told Nikki that she was like a “tsunami of fresh air” at the UN.

“I wanted to tell you how much we appreciate the defense of Israel and the truth that the president and you bring into these cloistered halls that are so damp, you know, with anti-Israel venom,” Netanyahu said Thursday in his meeting with Haley at the United Nations in New York. “It’s not a breath of fresh air, it’s like a tsunami of fresh air.” (from Times of Israel, Mar 8, 2018).

So Haley might as well be recognized as Israel’s ambassador at the UN. And Bibi as America’s real boss. Because the president we currently have at the White House is cow-towing to both of them.

BIBI APARTHEID

Israel in turmoil over bill allowing Jews and Arabs to be segregated

Like Botha’s South Africa, Like Bibi’s Israel

Law will ‘reveal ugly face of ultranationalist Israel in all its repugnance’, Hebrew University professor says

Bibi Apartheid.jpg

The proposed legislation being pushed by Benjamin Netanyahu (Bibi), Israel’s PM, would allow the state to “authorize a community composed of people having the same faith and nationality to maintain the exclusive character of that community”.

Israel is in the throes of political upheaval as the country’s ruling party seeks to pass legislation that could allow for Jewish-only communities, which critics have condemned as the end of a democratic state.

In its current state, the draft would also permit Jewish religious law to be implemented in certain cases and remove Arabic as an official language.

Many Israeli neighbourhoods and towns are already effectively segregated, with residents either vastly Jewish or Arab. In many places, it is tough for an Arab to move in, although segregation is not legal.

Writing in the progressive-leaning Haaretz newspaper, Mordechai Kremnitzer, from the faculty of law at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, said the bill would “remove the mask so as to reveal the ugly face of ultranationalist Israel in all its repugnance”.

ANOTHER CAVE-IN FOR PUTIN, RUSSIA

Russia extends overflight privileges of US carriers ahead of deadline

On Monday, the tough-talking Nikki Haley, the virtual US president and the unofficial Israel’s ambassador at the UN, announced new and tougher sanctions on Russia. They followed this weekend’s US-UK-French missile attacks on Syria which went unanswered by Russia despite Putin’s bluster and the flurry of his officials’ threats beforehand (see PUTIN: TALK IS CHEAP, ACTION SPEAKS LOUDER THAN WORDS,

What was Russia’s response to these new sanctions?

A cave in. An utter and complete cave-in. Here’s an RT.COM story about it:

Moscow has extended overflight privileges of US carriers flying over Russia, hours before they were due to expire, the US State Department said, noting that it continues working with Moscow to secure “benefits” for US companies.

The US State Department announced that it has been relentlessly working with Moscow to extend an agreement which allows American passenger and cargo planes to fly in Russian airspace, drastically saving time and fuel on long-distance flights. Hours before the overflight agreement was due to expire at 7:59pm (2359 GMT), the State Department confirmed that Russia granted the much-needed extension.

“The Ministry of Transport informed us today that it will extend overflight approvals for US airlines for operations on three routes through October 28, 2018,” the US State Department spokesperson told Sputnik on Tuesday. “The Ministry of Transport extended approvals for all-cargo flights from Asia to Europe through April 20.”

Putin might as well be a card-carrying member of the New World Order. His job is to be a patsy and play a bogey. Because without such “enemies,” the NWO motto – “perpetual war for perpetual commerce” would fail. With such “enemies,” the NWO flourishes.

What a bunch of fools the Russians who voted for him last month are. As are the millions of others around the world who see Putin as a hero who will free the world from the American-Israeli hegemony.

Yeah, right. Like Philippe Pétain saved France from Hitler? Or Gorbachev saved the Soviet Union from the West?

Lest we forget: Putin suggested to Bill Clinton in 2000 that Russia should join NATO.

PUTIN: TALK IS CHEAP, ACTION SPEAKS LOUDER THAN WORDS

Russian president is a fool if he thinks he can deal with the US in a court of law

Might is right – that’s the only response global terrorists understand

appeasers-header.jpg

Russian president and his officials talked tough in advance of the US-UK-France missile strikes on Syria in the predawn hours today (Apr 14, 2018).

Russia’s ambassador to Lebanon, for example, said on April 11 hat any US missiles fired at Syria would be shot down and the launch sites targeted, a step which could trigger a major escalation in the Syrian war (see LIKE CUBA, LIKE SYRIA?, Apr 11).

Well, that did not happen, did it? The tripartite US-led coalition fired 103 missiles supposedly at Syrian chemical weapons facilities. And there was not a peep from the Russian air defenses in that country.

Instead, Putin lamely responded in a statement that the US and its allies violated the UN Charter and international law.

Whoopee do! Really? That’s what the Russian president expects Washington to obey Spoken like a modern-day Neville Chamberlain.

When did the international law ever stop global state terrorists, or imperialists, from pursuing their goals? How did it work for Chamberlain against Hitler?

peace-for-our-time-1938-2013.jpg

When the push came to shove, the Russian president blinked. Just like Khrushchev did in 1962.

Just as Putin did when the US installed an anti-Russian regime in Ukraine in Feb 2014. And after the mass murder of the nearly 300 civilians on flight MH17 in July 2014. Which America (e.g., Hillary Clinton) immediately blamed on Russia (again without any proof, like the alleged chemical attack in Douma, Syria),

Proof? Only fools look for that. Statesmen act to protect their countries’ interests.

PUTIN: ALL BLUSTER, NO MUSTER

So what are we to conclude from this?

I tell you what: Putin is all bluster and no muster. A wuss. Yet seen as a hero in his country, recently reelected with a huge majority.

Which goes to show us that the American people are not the only naive fools in the world.

Words are cheap; action speaks louder than words. “Speak softly and carry a big stick” (Theodore Roosevelt).

All these truisms have been lost on the Russian president. What’s he going to do with his legal argument about the US breaking international law. Sue the Pentagon? Sue Trump? Sue Netanyahu?

Back in 2014, I wrote a Truth in Media editorial “Is Putin Naive or Coy?”  Now I can answer that question with certainty: He is a fool if he thinks he can deal with the belligerents like the US, Israel, UK or France in a court of law.

Even the former Trump supporters in the US are making minced meat of our bozo at the White House and his shameful turn-about-face on Syria pullout (see the “Conservative pundits are hammering Trump for US-led strikes in Syria”).

Like Yeltsin, Like Putin

More and more, Putin is sounding like Boris Yeltsin, who similarly sold out the Serbs in the 1990s during the US-initiated wars which dismembered Yugoslavia, and brought NATO into the Balkans.

Putin even alluded to that today:

“History will set things straight on Syria for the US, which is already responsible for a chain of “bloody carnage” in other countries, Russian President Putin said today, following the US-led attack on Syria.

And how did the history lesson work out in Yugoslavia? The country no longer exists. That’s how.

I fear the only country the “free world” may be able to count on to free us from the slavery to the Israel-controlled New World Order is China. Ironically, that’s a communist country. So I would not put much weight behind the words of the Chinese president, either.

“Birds of a feather flock together.”

Sad but true.

Basically, we are screwed. For now. Unless some other leader with cojones bigger than Netanyahu’s emerges. That’s the bottom line.

PUTIN PRACTICES “SPEAK SOFTLY BUT CARRY A BIG STICK”

Which Is Why Trump (US) Blinked in April Missile Attack on Syria

Remember my post, PUTIN: TALK IS CHEAP, ACTION SPEAKS LOUDER THAN WORDS? (

Six weeks ago, Putin stole a page out of Teddy Roosevelt’s playbook (Theodore Roosevelt’s  letter to Henry L. Sprague, on Jan 26, 1900).  He won the battle of a fake Syrian chemical attack without firing a shot.

Syrian President Bashar Assad said in an interview with RT.COM that Moscow deterred the US from launching a devastating country-wide air strike in April. He also believes that Damascus has nearly won the seven-year war, despite continued the US “interference.”

5b0f5a2fdda4c861488b457a

Here’s an excerpt from PUTIN: TALK IS CHEAP, ACTION SPEAKS LOUDER THAN WORDS? (

And here’s what actually happened, according to the VETERANS TODAY website, which quotes Russian military sources (April 14, 2018): Who is the big bad liar on the US missile attack on Syria?

The US and the British fired 103 missiles on April 14. Despite the Pentagon claims that all of them hit their targets, 71 incoming missiles were actually shot down by the Syrian air defenses. There were no Syrian military and civilian casualties.(for a detailed account of each missile target and result see below).

So Trump’s much ballyhooed April 14 bombing of Syrian in retaliation to a fake story the US launched which, thanks to the social media, nobody bought, was an unmitigated flop. A noisy night in Syria, to be sure. The US fireworks which produced no casualties.

If anything, this incident proved not only that Trump is merely Netanyahu’s pawn (see, but that he is an impotent pawn. It was he, not Putin, who ended up sounding like “all bluster, no muster”.

(see WHO’S AMERICA’S BOSS? NIKKI OR DONALD? ACTUALLY, NEITHER. IT IS BIBI. – Nikki Haley reverses Trump, says US troops are to stay in Syria – Apr 15, 2018 – https://wp.me/p3QU1S-2Uc)

FROM VETERANS TODAY website

Who is the big bad liar on the US missile attack on Syria?

April 14, 2018

Russian radar and air defense systems in the bases of Hameimim and Tartus were used to detect the American and British missiles and follow their course from the moment of launch of aircraft and warships and British warplanes Tornado above the average and from US aircraft F15 , F16 and strategic bombers B1-B from above the base Altnp occupied by US forces on Syrian territory (which I demanded the bombing started immediately after the start of the aggression on us with land-to-ground missiles) and Tomahawk missiles from warships in the Red Sea Labon & Montarie.

(French aircraft did not participate in the aggression)

The strikes were directed at the military airports, the scientific center and the manufacturing sites. According to the data, there are no casualties between civilians and military personnel.

103 rockets were fired at these Tomahawk and JB 38 sites and British warplanes fired eight SCALP & JEI

The Syrian air defenses dropped 71 missiles and used the following systems to drop them: S-125, S-200, Bock, Kfadrat, Usa

Russian Federation has recently helped the Syrian Arab Republic rebuild its air defense systems, which have largely destroyed the Takfiri terror and at the urging of our Western partners, we have asked Syria to provide it with S-300 air defense systems. But today, we will reconsider this issue not only with regard to To supply Syria with this system, but to provide other countries (sleep, our strategic allies) ……..

Four rockets were fired at the international airport, all of which were dropped.
Twelve rockets were fired at Al-Dameer Airport, all of which were dropped.

18 rockets were fired at Bli airport and all were dropped.

Twelve rockets were fired at al-Shaerat airport.

9 rockets were fired at the unmanned Mezze airport, 5 of which were dropped.

16 rockets were fired at Homs, 13 of which were dropped. There were no significant losses to these two aircraft and were limited to material.

30 missiles were fired at the residential areas of Barzeh and Jirmana on facilities that the aggression states claimed had research centers and chemical weapons production plants. Seven of these rockets were dropped and the targeted places of equipment and persons were vacated for a long time.

We confirm that there are no weapons centers or factories No rockets were fired into the Russian air defenses at the Hameimim and Tartous … Our base was established in Hameim and Tartous in the state of alert and war and our warplane is flying in the Syrian airspace.

LIKE CUBA, LIKE SYRIA?

EXCEPT WITH RUSSIA-USA ROLES REVERSED

Nearly 56 years ago, the world was teeter-tottering on the brink of war between the Soviet Union and the United States. The events of October 1962 became known as the Cuba Missile Crisis. In the end, common sense and self-preservation prevailed. And the two superpowers stepped back from the brink of war.

Now the world is facing a similar crisis in Syria. Except that the roles are reversed. Now the US is threatening to strike Syria with its missiles. And Russia is promising to shoot them down and then target the source – the US fleet in the Mediterranean,

What brought that about now that ISIS has been virtually defeated in Syria?

The threat of peace. That’s what has caused all these bellicose actions by the warmongers in the US and Israel.

Two week ago (on March 29), Donald Trump said the US military should get ready to pull out of Syria.

“We’re knocking the hell out of ISIS. We’ll be coming out of Syria like very soon. Let the other people take care of it now,” Trump said at an Ohio public event. “We are going to get back to our country, where we belong, where we want to be.”

Trump 3-29-18.png

And those words sent the war hawks into apoplexy, especially in Israel which has been using the US military and money as a shield against its enemies in the Middle East.

TRUMP’S TURN-ABOUT-FACE

Predictably, there was an alleged “chemical attack” which the lamestream media immediately attributed to the Syrian government. And Trump just as quickly folded his peace rhetoric, and tail between his legs became once again the herald of perpetual wars on behalf of Israel.

“Russia vows to shoot down any and all missiles fired at Syria. Get ready Russia, because they will be coming, nice and new and “smart!”, Trump tweeted today. “You shouldn’t be partners with a Gas Killing Animal who kills his people and enjoys it!”

Wow. Talk about a turn-about-face executed with a military precision by a man who has never served in the military, but one with lots of experience in brown-nosing Benjamin Netanyahu and his war hawks.

Meanwhile, Russia’s president Vladimir Putin has once again appealed for peace and common sense.

The state of world affairs invokes nothing but concerns, the situation in the world is becoming more chaotic,” Putin said today during a Moscow ceremony to welcome new ambassadors to Russia (see https://on.rt.com/9317). “Nevertheless, we still hope that common sense will eventually prevail and international relations will enter a constructive course, the entire world system will become more stable and predictable.”

Well, that’s not exactly what some other Russian officials have said. Russia’s ambassador to Lebanon said that any US missiles fired at Syria would be shot down and the launch sites targeted, a step which could trigger a major escalation in the Syrian war.

Alexander Zasypkin, in comments broadcast on Tuesday evening, said he was referring to a statement by Russian president Vladimir Putin and the Russian chief-of-staff.

“If there is a strike by the Americans then… the missiles will be downed and even the sources from which the missiles were fired,” he told Hezbollah’s al-Manar TV (see https://goo.gl/r3bz4B).

So there you have it. Things are heating up again in Syria not because the ISIS or some other alleged terrorists are threatening the peace process. Warmongers are at it again because Trump said the US would pull out of Syria and “would let other people (like Israel) take care of it now.”

Suddenly, there has been a re-escalation of war in Syria, followed by another Trump flip-flop. Who do you suppose is responsible for that?

ANOTHER DAY WHICH WILL LIVE IN INFAMY

It’s a done deal, Trump recognizes Jerusalem as Israeli capital

ANOTHER DAY WHICH WILL LIVE IN INFAMY

Netanyahu thanks Trump

“I have determined that it is time to officially recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel,” the president said today during a speech in the Diplomatic Reception Room of the White House.

In a recorded statement released minutes after Trump finished talking, the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that his people would be “forever grateful” for the “historic decision” and urged other countries to follow America’s example.

STAND BY FOR A FALLOUT FROM THIS FOOLHARDY DECISION

And now, stand by for a fallout from this foolhardy decision. Will Dec 6 be another day which will live in infamy?

Ironically, tomorrow, Dec 7, the Pearl Harbor Day, is the first such a historical memento. Was Trump trying to preempt it?

We did not have to wait long. Even before the stroke of midnight in Europe, the French president was the first world among world leaders to part company with Trump.

HOW TO GAIN ENEMIES AND LOSE FRIENDS – IN AN INSTANT

When they first met back in July, the two new presidents – Donald Trump of the US and Emmanuel Macron of France – bonded instantly as the best of pals.

Trump-Macron-friends-Jerusalem

Today, in one fell swoop, with his Jerusalem announcement, Trump undid that friendship and turned Macron into a critic.

Here’s what the French president Macron tweeted this evening:

06 December 2017
23:35 GMT
French President Emmanuel Macron expressed his disapproval of Trump’s decision on Twitter.

“France does not approve the decision of the United States. France supports the two-state solution, Israel and Palestine, living in peace and security, with Jerusalem as the capital of the two states. We must privilege appeasement and dialogue,” he said.

An avalanche of criticisms followed the next day (Dec 7), along with violent clashes in occupied Palestinian territories.

THE DAY AFTER: SOME REACTIONS TO TRUMP’S JERUSALEM ANNOUNCEMENT

In reaction to Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, condemnations continue to mount across the Middle East and internationally. Even the US “friends” are steaming about it.

Eight countries on the 15-member UN Security Council requested a meeting, including the UK, Italy and France, amid claims from Palestine and Turkey that recognition by the US president is in breach of both international law and UN resolutions.

The EU foreign policy chief, Federica Mogherini, said the bloc had a united position that Jerusalem must be the capital of both Israel and a future Palestinian state. France said it rejected the “unilateral” US decision while the UK prime minister, Theresa May, and the foreign secretary, Boris Johnson, both described Trump’s announcement as “unhelpful”.

The Russian foreign ministry said US recognition risked “dangerous and uncontrollable consequences”.

Israel’s prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, hailed US recognition of Jerusalem as “historic” and claimed other countries were in contact about following Trump’s lead, but was alone among regional leaders in praising the move.

Saudi Arabia’s royal court called it “unjustified and irresponsible” in a rare rebuke of the US, and the Turkish president, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, said Trump had thrown the Middle East into a “ring of fire”.

President of the Palestinian Authority Mahmoud Abbas said that Trump’s declaration meant that the US “abdicates” any role in mediating the Arab-Israeli conflict. In a televised speech, Abbas said he “condemned and rejected” the US decision, which he said will “serve terrorists” and “bring never-ending wars to the region.”

SOME READER REACTIONS

[Name withheld]: Bob, this has been promised for a long time. It is the city that Israel considers its capital…it would b like refusing to recognize Moscow or Washington Dc.

Bob Altzar Djurdjevic: Ridiculous comparisons. You should really brush up on history. Unlike Moscow or Washington, Jerusalem is also a holy city for the Muslims and the Christians. Maybe you should have said, that’s like claiming the Vatican is the capital of NATO. Which would have been actually closer to the truth.

VIOLENT CLASHES IN OCCUPIED PALESTINIAN TERRITORIES

Meanwhile, slashes between Palestinian protesters and Israeli troops have taken place in cities across the occupied West Bank as anger over Donald Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital spilled on to the streets.

The most violent confrontations occurred in Ramallah, Bethlehem and Hebron, where Israeli security forces fired teargas and plastic-coated rounds as hundreds of protesters threw stones and set alight barricades.

In the Gaza Strip, dozens of protesters gathered near the border fence with Israel and threw rocks at soldiers on the other side. Two protesters were wounded by live fire, with one reported to be in a critical condition.

A fresh round of violent protests are expected on Friday at mass demonstrations called to follow Friday prayers.

TOP JERUSALEM CHRISTIAN LEADERS WARN TRUMP OF “VIOLENCE AND SUFFERING” IF US RECOGNIZES THE HOLY CITY AS ISRAEL’S CAPITAL

Trump’s decision to cause “irreparable harm,” 13 patriarchs of Christian churches say

Christian leaders in Jerusalem have just sent an open letter to Donald Trump asking him to reconsider his planned recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.

The 13 patriarchs and church heads in Jerusalem told Trump that this decision would cause “irreparable harm.”

“We are certain that such steps will yield increased hatred, conflict, violence and suffering in Jerusalem and the Holy Land, moving us farther from the goal of unity and deeper toward destructive division,” wrote the leaders of the Greek Orthodox, Coptic, Catholic, and other branches of Christianity that are represented in the city.

Editorial Comment Re. Biblical Prophesies

IS TRUMP LEADING US ON A PATH TO ARMAGEDDON?

We live in Biblical times… and that’s not a good thing

What the Christian patriarchs yesterday (Dec 6) told the man who professes to be a Christian but acts as if he were an Israeli pawn, is what every child knows: “Let the sleeping dog lie.”

The “sleeping dog” – the Middle East – has been relatively quiet lately.

But no, this Judas Iscariot reincarnate has apparently decided to do what no other American president ever dared to: Poke the sleeping dog in the eye.

There could be only one motive for that and one consequence. The motive: to appease his Zionist handlers. The consequence: Strife, unrest, violence and maybe even another middle-eastern war.

That’s apparently what Israel wants. And what Israel wants, Trump apparently does.

O tempora, o mores… (“What times we live in…”, Lat.).

We actually live in biblical times. Because that’s what the Bible had predicted – see Israel and Jerusalem: The Road To Armageddon.

Are these maniacs in Washington and Tel Aviv suicidal? Or is the Bible wrong?

Either way, the world should brace itself for what is to come. Nothing good, to be sure, in the short run.

So check out this biblical prophesy, but first read this PREFACE.

PREFACE TO THIS BIBLICAL PROPHESY

This writer is aware that the Bible was written by about 40 men over the course of 1,500 years. None of them were writers. Matthew was a tax-collector, John was a fisherman, Paul was a tentmaker, Moses was a shepherd, Luke was a physician, Isaiah was a prophet, Ezra was a priest, and so on.

Notice that they were all MEN. So the Bible inevitably contains at least a sexual bias. The Bible authors also had other biases stemming from their backgrounds and the periods they lived in.

So a truth-seeker must take the biblical prophesies with a grain of salt. Like, “then the LORD God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man” (Genesis, 2:22).

Really?

That said, this thrice-ordained shaman also knows firsthand that it is possible for some men (and women!) to receive direct communications from the spirit realm.

Finally, as a former war correspondent and geopolitical commentator, this writer also knows that a truth-seeker must consider a variety of sources before forming his opinions, particularly on a subject as complex as the Middle East history and politics.

So take this preface as a warning not to take everything you read in the Bible literally as gospel truth, although much of it really is. So you have to use your own JUDGMENT.

Biblical Prophecy

Israel and Jerusalem:
The Road To Armageddon

“I (God) will bless those who bless you (Israel) and will curse those who curse you” (Genesis 12:3)

The Bible warns the destiny of the World is inseparable from Israel and Jerusalem. The Bible says God would one day re-gather the children of Israel back into their land from among many nations around the world. The Bible says they would be re-gathered in unbelief … God warns He is not re-gathering the children of Israel into their Land because they deserve it, but because His Name and His Word are at stake (see Ezekiel 36:17-23) … and because He loves them. They are His chosen people.

The Bible warns God would then make Jerusalem a world trouble spot. The Bible says all nations of the world will turn against Israel. The Bible warns during this time ‘Gaza will be forsaken’ … and offers a stark warning.

The Bible warns a coming world leader (the ‘Antichrist’) will rise out of 10 nations which once formed the Roman Empire and will enforce a peace plan or treaty (‘covenant’) upon Israel (‘upon the many’ – for many in Israel will be against it) …

And then, after a 3½ year false peace, God warns He will send the children of Israel (and all the nations of the world) through a fiery trial unlike anything in the history of the world, to separate those who will turn back to God and His Word from those who have hardened their hearts against God and His Word (the ‘Apocalypse’).

The Bible warns two-thirds of the people in Israel will be ‘cut off and die’ during this time.

Then, one day when the armies of the world will gather in and around nation Israel (the coming battle of Armageddon) and when all seems lost for the children of Israel, the Bible says a believing remnant will recognize their Messiah from Scripture, and will call upon His Name. He will then return to save Israel.

The Bible also tells us ‘after these things’ the little nation of Israel and the children of Israel will rule over all the nations on Earth, in peace, under her King and Messiah Jesus Christ (Yeshua Ha’Mashiach in Hebrew). The Bible says all of the covenants, promises, curses, prophecies, and blessings God has made to the children and nation of Israel will be fulfilled …

In Yiddish, ‘Freier’ means SUCKER, the worst insult to a Jew. It’s taken me 64 years to realise that I have been a sucker not realising I was until 2014 when I was in the Region, seeing, hearing and smelling with all of my senses the rains of Israeli terror pouring down on GAZA.

All Jews, all Israelis, all the people around the world who support Israeli terror are SUCKERS, particularly Jews and Christians who know better. They are following in the footsteps of the ilk like Netanyahu. Zionism rules and dominates the Israeli zeitgeist beguiling and chaining many Jews into believing in something they are not. These Zionists are suckered into a belief that Zionism is the answer, the Way, the Truth and the Life. Only a sucker could believe that.

RUSSIA ALSO CONDEMNS TRUMP’S DECISION ON JERUSALEM

“Jerusalem is ours” – Muslims protest around the world

Russia’s foreign minister Sergey Lavrov joined an international chorus of criticism over the move by the Trump administration. “The fact is that the statement [of recognition] goes against all the previous agreements,” he said, adding that it divided global communities into two “very, very unequal parts.” Israel is the only nation openly endorsing the move, but some US allies like Canada have refrained from criticizing it too loudly.

Lavrov, who was speaking to journalists in Vienna, said the Trump administration has shot itself in the foot with the decision, undermining their own Middle East strategy. “They previously said, let’s normalize the relations between Washington and the Arab world, and once it is done, the Palestinian issue can be resolved,” he said. “By taking the decision to move the US embassy to Jerusalem the Trump administration have undermined their effort to normalize the relations with the Arabs.”

Meanwhile, a wave of protests has swept the Muslim World after Donald Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israeli capital. A man was killed and hundreds injured in clashes in the West Bank, while US flags were burned at mass rallies in Iran, Pakistan and elsewhere.

Over 200 people were injured on Friday as violent protests in Jerusalem, the West Bank and Gaza went into a second day, according to Palestinian officials. Israeli security forces employed tear gas, rubber bullets and even live ammunition to disperse the demonstrators.

Scuffles were reported outside the Old City gates in Jerusalem as worshippers, who were leaving the Al Aqsa Mosque, chanted “Jerusalem is ours, Jerusalem is our capital,” and “We don’t need empty words, we need stones and Kalashnikovs.”

More than 3,000 Palestinians took part in protests in at least 30 locations in the region, the Israeli military said. The unrest began after Friday prayers, when Palestinians began throwing stones at IDF troops.

Elsewhere, the US troops in Afghanistan are on a special ‘Notice to Move’ alert following the US’ Jerusalem decision, according to the Military Times. Donald Trump’s announcement has been met with anger across the Middle East, stoking fears of US troops being targeted.

TAKING SIDES FUELS CONTINUOUS CONFLICT

Isn’t 69 years of bloodshed proof enough?
ALTZAR: Thought you may find this correspondence of interest as it provides a historical background to the conflict in Palestine.
“Okay let me get this straight Jerusalem which in the Old Testament was the capital of Israel, long before there were Muslims of any kind, and all these people are violently disagreeing with the decision to Simply recognize a pre-existing condition, and that somehow invalidates Trump’s decision but validates their own by the use of said violence.
Okay this is just beyond stupid.”
Bob Altzar Djurdjevic: Yes, you do know your history. But selectively, it seems. At that, you are following a treacherous historical path back to about 1,000 BC.
Before that, however, Israel was not Jewish. It was a Canaanites’ land (in 2nd millennium BC). And before that who knows… maybe refugees from the Atlantis disaster?
If you use this kind of logic going back 4,000 years or more, you would have to remap the entire world. Which would lead to chaos and global warfare.

More relevant is the fact that over 700,000 Palestinians were “ethnically cleansed”, to use a modern term, after Israel declared independence in May 1948, under the protection of the US government. That’s around 80 percent of the Arab inhabitants of what became the state of Israel.

It is that kind of injustice that has fueled all subsequent wars.
So you see, there is no right or wrong in a protracted conflict such as this. Both sides have committed atrocities and acted as terrorists depending how far back you wind the clock of history.
Which is why the only sensible policy is NOT TO TAKE SIDES (i.e., the opposite of what the US has been doing in the last seven decades). Because supporting one ethnic group against another will provide fuel fo continuous conflicts. Isn’t 69 years of bloodshed proof enough?

In East Jerusalem, mounted police cleared Palestinians who attempted to block traffic. Trash cans were set alight in the city and stun grenade explosions were frequently heard.

RT’s Charlotte Dubenskij was reporting from Salah ad Din street Saturday, the main thoroughfare of East Jerusalem, when several stun grenades landed meters from her, forcing the RT crew to take shelter behind a parked car.

RT’s team filmed at least one injured elderly man taken away by medics. Palestinian news agency WAFA said mounted police knocked people over in Jerusalem, including journalists. 32 people were injured in Jerusalem, according to Red Crescent. Police were knocking phones from the hands of the reporters while dispersing the crowd, a RIA Novosti journalist reported from the scene.

Dozens of people were injured during riots in Bethlehem Saturday, the Palestinian Health Ministry said as cited by WAFA. Security forces fired tear gas, stun grenades and rubber bullets when the crowd approached an Israeli military base in the city. The protests occurred at around 20 other locations in the West Bank, including in Ramallah and Tulkarm, the IDF said.

A wave of anti-American and anti-Israeli protests swept through numerous countries. Thousands of people took to the streets to denounce the declaration and burn US flags and portraits of Trump in Iran, Turkey, Egypt, Jordan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Afghanistan and elsewhere.

Memorial Day 2002 Truth in Media editorial – Revisited

HOW TO WIN THE PEACE IN TWO SIMPLE STEPS

Dump treacherous “ally” (Israel), diversify away from Arab oil

“The only way for America to win the ‘war on terrorism’ in the long run is to disengage from Israel AND from the Middle East oil – both the root causes of anti-American terrorism” (an excerpt from Truth in Media, May 26, 2002

Recent turmoil in the Middle East and elsewhere, caused by Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, reminded me of this Truth in Media editorial I wrote over 15 years ago. It provided a simple solution to the seemingly intractable Middle East problems. Yet even as I wrote that piece, I never expected the US government to implement it. Because war is much more profitable, especially to the “death merchants.”

And so the endless cycles of violence continue, from one generation to another. We cannot think of a better example than that of “PERPETUAL WAR FOR PERPETUAL COMMERCE” – the real New World Order motto which we first discerned in 1993.

An excerpt from Truth in Media, May 26, 2002:

HOW TO WIN THE PEACE IN TWO SIMPLE STEPS

Dump treacherous “ally” (Israel), diversify away from Arab oil

There are a couple of editorial observations we wish to share with you on this Memorial Day weekend in the U.S.

First, a very simple and PEACEFUL ending to both America’s “war on terrorism,” and to our continued involvement in the never-ending Middle Eastern wars, is staring us in the face.  If the Bush administration were really an American government acting in OUR country’s best interests, it could end the senseless fight with one-two geopolitical punches:

  • Punch One… an uppercut to Israel.  Dump this treacherous “ally;” the only “ally” that has ever attacked us, killing 34 American soldiers and injuring 172 others (USS Liberty, 1967); the only “ally” that has sapped the U.S. Treasure to the tune of nearly one hundred billion dollars, while using our money and arms to wage state terrorism against its Arab neighbors; the only “ally” that has brazenly spied on us, and then had the audacity to demand a pardon for its spy (Jonathan Pollard); the only “ally” that continues to spy on us (see Fox TV News series on Israeli “students”, Dec. 2001 – Ashcroft: Tough on American Liberties, Soft on Israeli Spies, Mar. 2002).
  • Punch Two… a plexus to Arab oil.  Reduce our dependence on Arab oil.  Which ultimately means also cease cozying up to the embarrassing totalitarian regimes that have allowed acts of terrorism against Americans to be committed on their soil (see partial list of bombings in the Middle East).  The warming up of the Russo-American relations is a welcome step in that direction, as Russia is a major global energy supplier and an OPEC competitor (see Russia vs. OPEC, Sep. 2000).

But given that at present we import 70% of our oil from Saudi Arabia and Kuwait vs. next to nothing from Russia; and that Russia accounts for 10% of the global oil output versus OPEC’s 40%; it will take a long time before such a policy change gets traction. But “a thousand mile journey begins with the first step,” as Confucius noted.

PEACE DIVIDENDS

The Punch One would remove a major cause of anti-Americanism around the world, especially in Muslim countries.  The Punch Two would take the (economic) punch out of the countries that hate us.  The only way for America to win the “war on terrorism” in the long run is to disengage from Israel AND from the Middle East oil – both the root causes of anti-American terrorism.

That’s no great wisdom.  That’s just common sense.

What are the chances of common sense prevailing in Washington’s foreign policy?  The same as that of true American patriotism… slim to none.  As long as the Bush administration is acting as a proxy of both the Israeli lobby and of the multinational oil companies, the American people will be the victims of both and the designated targets for international terrorism.

WHAT IS PUTIN UP TO?

His shuttle diplomacy: Met with 3 presidents in 3 countries in 1 day

There is a good chance that Putin is cooking up something in the Middle East with his shuttle diplomacy today. He met with Assad in Syria, with Al Sisi in Egypt, and finished the day with a meeting with Erdogan in Turkey.

All three countries are Israel’s neighbors and important players in the Middle East. All three are opposed to Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. As is virtually the entire world.

Russia also has good relations with Iran, and of late, even with Saudi Arabia. If Putin manages to bridge the chasm between the Sunny and the Shia Muslims, he just might be able to assemble a formidable opposition to the US-Israeli Jerusalem declaration.

If that’s what this shuttle diplomacy was about, it will be worth watching what follows over the next days and weeks.

PS: On a lighter note, notice the same tie Putin is wearing on all three occasions? 🙂

UPDATE DEC 16, 2017

PATHETIC SUMMIT IN ISTANBUL EXPOSES WEAKNESS OF TOOTHLESS LEADERS OF 57 MUSLIM COUNTRIES

These Muslim leaders are no longer relevant, writes Robert Fisk, a longtime Middle East correspondent for the London Independent newspaper – https://goo.gl/4fns4R

“They represent failed states with neither morality nor courage to show for their presence at the Istanbul summit,” he writes.

“It was just more claptrap from an organization (that’s already changed its name twice) which offers no hope, no initiative, no justice and no future to the people of its collective autocracies.”

DISMAL FAILURE OF MUSLIM LEADERS TO STAND UP AND SUPPORT THE PALESTINIANS OVER JERUSALEM

If there was anything to beat in mediocrity the childish and delinquent declaration by Donald Trump that Jerusalem is Israel’s capital, it was the pathetic response from Muslim states. For there in Istanbul this week were all the tired old men to whom we have listened for so many years, none sadder or more woebegone than the ageing and useless “President” of Palestine, Mahmoud Abbas.

There were supposed to be 57 heads of state of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation in the Turkish capital, but some were simply too old and senile – the comatose Bouteflika of Algeria, for example – or too busy shouting abuse at other Arabs states or bombing Yemen.

Oh yes, of course, they demanded that the “international community” accept east Jerusalem as Palestine’s “capital” – a capital for a state that doesn’t exist and, at this rate, never will.

It was just more claptrap from an organization (that’s already changed its name twice) which offers no hope, no initiative, no justice and no future to the people of its collective autocracies.

The “world” – an interesting concept in Middle East terms – and America will only become worried if these tired men have courage. Or what we used to call the courage of their convictions.

If America has hurled itself out of peace-making – which it supposedly has, although I wouldn’t count on Abbas keeping his phone off the hook if the White House calls – then these potentates should be considering a diplomatic boycott of the United States, or the breaking off of relations or even a mild but increasingly severe oil boycott. There was a time when they did this sort of thing.

But that’s not going to happen.

It might have been wise if (the Palestinian leader) Abbas had contested the Trump decision at the international court, but the Palestinian leadership is so uninspiring (and corrupt) that I doubt if it even dreamed of such a move.

And that’s the problem. If you have a delinquent American president, you need serious young people – international lawyers, negotiators, experienced diplomats – to defend the peoples of the Middle East. There are UN resolutions enough to apply to Jerusalem and the occupied territories. But no, not a word did we hear of these. It was as if apathy and hopelessness guide these figures. For more, see THE INDEPENDENT – https://goo.gl/4fns4R

APATHY GALORE: PLUTOCRATS ARE WINNING… FOR NOW

And so it goes… like America, like Middle East. Apathy at home, apathy overseas.

Nobody dares challenge the oligarchs. So the plutocrats are winning sowing fear, uncertainty and doubt. The slave mentality is engulfing the world.

Because those who can, are doing nothing. And those who do, are just pissing in the wind.

The world is desperately in the need of a messiah of some kind, a person who would INSPIRE and uplift the spirit of humanity.

Is Putin that guy? Time will tell.

Meanwhile, we’d better not wait that long. We must start to “trust only yourself and you own nag” (a Serbian proverb: “Uzdaj se samo u se i u svoje kljuse”).

US VETOES UN RESOLUTION ON JERUSALEM

All other Security Council members vote for it

US AND ISRAEL: ROGUE STATES

As expected, the US vetoed today the UN Security Council (UNSC) resolution on Jerusalem, which had demanded the American decision recognizing the city as the Israeli capital be withdrawn. All other UNSC members voted in favor of the document.

The French envoy to the UN said in his speech that the US still “should explain compatibility of its decision [on Jerusalem] with the international consensus.” He also added that France “regrets” the outcome of the vote that has become a symbol of 14 UNSC members’ willingness to “confirm their attachment to international law.”

By this action, the United States has effectively taken itself and Israel out of the world community. “What’s good for the goose is not good for the gander,” when it comes to Trump and Netanyahu.

These two governments have now set themselves as international outcasts, leaders of pariah states which do not respect international laws and norms.

Of course, for Israel, that’s nothing knew. That country had already violated over 80 UN Security Council resolutions, and many others passed by the UN General Assembly over the last seven decades (see “Rogue State: Israeli Violations of U.N. Security Council Resolutions” – Foreign Policy – https://goo.gl/hYZAtz).

And the US has backed Israel’s intransigence for the most part. But not always.

Defying extraordinary pressure from President-elect Donald Trump and furious lobbying by Israel, the Obama administration on Dec 23, 2016 allowed the United Nations Security Council to adopt a resolution that condemned Israeli settlement construction.

So never before have the US and Israel been so utterly isolated in the world community as today’s UN Security Council vote has shown.

And the protests around the world, not just in Palestine, are continuing. In Indonesia, for example, some 80,000 people demonstrated today against Trump’s Jerusalem recognition – see the video… https://on.rt.com/8v1k.

Israel’s ‘attack against Christians’: Ancient Jerusalem church closes to protest Israeli tax, land policies

ALTZAR: So you think Trump’s Dec 6 unlawful and inane Jerusalem recognition as Israel’s capital was only aimed against the Palestinians? You will think again after you read this story.

The Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem, originally built by Constantine the Great in 336 AD on the site where Jesus is believed to have been crucified and buried, shut down indefinitely on Sunday (Feb 25) in protest against a new Israeli tax policy and draft law on land expropriation. The leaders of Roman Catholic, Greek Orthodox, and Armenian churches announced the closure of the holy site in a joint statement, accusing Israel of a “systematic and unprecedented attack against Christians in the Holy Land.”

A bill which would allow the authorities to expropriate land that was sold to private firms by churches in Jerusalem since 2010 was to be considered by the Israeli government on Sunday. The Jerusalem city authorities have also recently cancelled tax exemptions granted to church-owned commercial properties and are now demanding back payments.

The Christian church leaders argued that the Israeli actions “breach existing agreements and international obligations which guarantee the rights and the privileges of the Churches, in what seems as an attempt to weaken the Christian presence in Jerusalem… “The greatest victims in this are those impoverished families who will go without food and housing, as well as the children who will be unable to attend school.”

“The Jerusalem municipality issued scandalous collection notices and orders of seizure of Church assets, properties and bank accounts for alleged debts of punitive municipal taxes,” Theophilos III, the Patriarch of Jerusalem, Francesco Patton, the Custos of the Holy Land, and Nourhan Manougian, the Armenian Patriarch of Jerusalem, said.

The top clerics blasted the proposed Israeli legislation as “abhorrent… discriminatory and racist,” saying that “this reminds us all of laws of a similar nature, which were enacted against the Jews during dark periods in Europe.” As for the future of the holy site, “we will decide when and how the church will re-open,” they added.

MEET AMERICA’S FIRST FEMALE “PRESIDENT”: YAEL!

An “unelected, unqualified, unprepared New York (Jewish) socialite” nevertheless represented the United States at a G20 session

She is blonde and beautiful. And Jewish – by choice (her Jewish name is Yael). And she sat between the leaders of Germany, China, Britain and Turkey today representing the United States as sort of an “acting president.”  Because she is also “The First Daughter.”

Even the Jewish-dominated Hollywood, who coughed up such sickeningly sexist and perverse dramas as the “House of Cards” (reverse sexism – female domination – female acting “president” – female almost everything in the White House and government), could not have concocted a more bizarre script. The “Claire” character at a world leaders’ meeting?

And yet that’s what unfolded today, July 8, 2017, at the G20 Summit meeting in Hamburg, Germany.

Ivanka at G20 7-08-17

Take a look at the above picture. It was tweeted earlier today by a member of the Russian delegation, and then quickly deleted. Not to embarrass the United States, I suppose. Because Trump and Putin had such a great meeting yesterday (see EVEN MELANIA COULD NOT BREAK UP THE TRUMP-PUTIN BONDING – below).

But information is like air.  Once you exhale it, it’s gone. You can’t take it back.

Historian Anne Applebaum, Jewish – by birth, was quoted by Agence France-Presse as criticizing Ivanka as “an unelected, unqualified, unprepared New York socialite” who moved in to replace her father at the G20 leaders’ table.  And that’s “the best person to represent American national interests,” Applebaum wondered?

Well, Ivanka evidently thought so.

When she was 27, Ivanka, raised Presbyterian, converted to Judaism in an Orthodox rabbinical court in New York. She adopted the Hebrew name Yael. Which means, “Strength of God.”

Hm… not exactly a model of modesty, is she? Like daughter, like father.

Last winter (2016), Donald Trump said, “I have a Jewish daughter. This wasn’t in the plan, but I’m very glad it happened.”

Wonder if Trump would have been so tolerant had his daughter married a Muslim non-billionaire and converted to Islam?

Interestingly, Ivanka never changed her last name. Too many billions hanging off of the Trump shingle, I suppose. And now that Trump is president, her name is gold.  Like his tower and hotel signs.

On May 22, 2017, during Trump’s first overseas trip, father and daughter Trump got a chance to pray together at the Jerusalem Wall.  Never mind that this happened right after they had paid homage to the Saudi Arabian king (see TRUMP STARTS HIS FIRST FOREIGN TRIP IN SAUDI ARABIA, ISRAEL, May 21, 2017).

Evidently “money is king” for the would-be king of the United States.

As for Ivanka, she is already “sitting in” as Queen Esther.  Last December, the Forward, a magazine formerly known as the Jewish Daily Forward, published an OpEd column with the headline, “Can Ivanka Trump become our Queen Esther?”  The piece included Ivanka’s above image adorned as Queen Esther. The column ends with:

“Ivanka, you’re now in the right place and this is the right time (to defend the Jews). Read the Book of Esther, and step forward.”

She did. In Hamburg on July 8. Pretending to be “acting president” of the United States.

Nepotism?  If only that. Try mocking our entire system of government. Which is based on free elections not royal appointments or whimsical favors. In fact, that’s in part what the American Revolution of 1776 was AGAINST.

What may come next? Having Melania or her nanny sit in for the president if he is “busy”? Or see Ivanka take over as VP and then “acting president,” like the Claire character in the “House of Cards?”

Real life imitating Hollywood? God forbid!

And now, here’s a ‘good news’ story from the G20 summit in Hamburg, Germany

DELkwltXcAAtEJg

EVEN MELANIA COULD NOT BREAK UP THE TRUMP-PUTIN BONDING

But will Nikki Haley do it?

The “historic” first Trump-Putin meeting on July 7, on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Hamburg, Germany, hijacked Angela Merkel’s carefully planned agenda for this summit of world leaders. Not only did the media focus only on that event, even Melania Trump could not pry her husband away from Putin.

The meeting was scheduled to last 30-40 minutes. It went on for 2:16 hours. Poor Japanese prime minister Abe, who had a meeting scheduled with Putin right after Trump’s, had to cool his heels like a valet until the two world leaders were finished bonding with each other.

Afterward, Putin apologized to Abe on behalf of both himself and Putin.

“I had a tremendous meeting yesterday with President Putin,” Trump said today (July 8) while speaking with UK Prime Minister Theresa May.

It must have been. Because even Melania could not pry her husband away from Putin.

First Lady Melania Trump was sent into the meeting at one point to see her husband and try to “get him out,” Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson said.

“Clearly, she failed,” the top US diplomat joked, adding that the meeting went on for another hour after that.

Putin’s spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, who has been Putin’s spokesperson since 2000,, disagreed. He said that a “certain affection” had developed between the Russian leader and Trump’s wife, Melania, who sat next to the Russian president at the official G20 dinner, revealing that the two discussed several issues on the summit agenda, including gender equality and women’s economic participation.

Trump and Putin had “positive chemistry” during their first meeting, Tillerson said, adding that there was “so much to talk about” that neither leader “wanted to stop.” The two “connected very quickly,” said Tillerson.

That’s great. Now let’s sit back and watch how the lamestream media and other warmongers among the New World Order crowd try to derail this rapprochement between the U.S. and Russia at presidential levels.  Including those whom Trump had appointed to their jobs, such as the UN ambassador Nikki Haley.

‘We cannot trust Russia & we won’t ever trust Russia’ – she has already squawked today in a CNN interview.

Right on cue. Now it remains to be seen who is in charge here – Trump or the NWO foreign policy masters.

If it is the former, Trump should fire Haley immediately for insubordination. It is the President, not the UN ambassador, who makes foreign policy.

And if Trump does not, then well… we’ll also have an answer as to who is in charge, won’t we?

UPDATE JULY 10, 2017

Putin Trump 7-07-17

NEW WORLD ORDER’S WAR DOGS IN THE SENATE, NATO AND THE UN ARE ALREADY BARKING THEIR HEADS OFF, TRYING TO DERAIL TRUMP-PUTIN DETENTE

Biggest threat to New World Order: If Reap Peace Were to Break Out between U.S. and Russia

They are so predictable. The uproar has already started.  The New World Order war dogs are already barking their heads off.  On orders, of course, of their warmongering masters.

I said yesterday in my piece about the friendly meeting between the Russian and American presidents on July 7 (see EVEN MELANIA COULD NOT BREAK UP THE TRUMP-PUTIN BONDING), that the new detente will come under attack by the mad war dogs of the New World Order. Because the later could not exist without Russia as a bogey and an enemy.

So the news that Putin and Trump hit it off so well must have rung alarm bells across the New World Order boardrooms. And immediately they sent their attack dogs to try to derail the deal.

First yesterday, the UN ambassador Nikki Haley had the nerve to attack her own president who appointed her to that job (see ‘We cannot trust Russia & we won’t ever trust Russia’ – she has already squawked July 9 in a CNN interview.).

Then today, three warmongering Republican senators – Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, John McCain of Arizona and Marco Rubio of Florida – immediately criticized the Trump-Putin idea “to form an impenetrable Cyber Security unit so that election hacking, & many other negative things, will be guarded and safe”, saying Moscow could not be trusted.

Just like Nikki Haley yesterday. Reading of the same warmongering New World Order page? Birds of a feather that flock together? You betcha.

And then also today, “NATO Chief Jens Stoltenberg Called On Russia To Remove ‘Thousands Of Troops’ From Ukraine“.

Excuse me? Russian troops in Ukraine, while the US military are steadily building up their presence since 2015. Clearly another distraction and diversion attempt by the NATO and US military war dogs.

Because at the same time as Stoltenberg was mouthing off this nonsense accusation against Russia, guess what the U.S. military were doing? Conducting massive war games just off Ukrainian coast (see Sea Breeze: US sends missile warships, Navy SEALs to massive war games off Ukraine coast).

As I said, they are so predictable. Because the biggest threat to the New World Order would be if real PEACE were to break out between the U.S. and Russia. So they are calling all their war dogs into action trying to prevent that from happening.

TIME COVER IS BOTH LATE AND WRONG

Earlier this week, I published a comment about the latest TIME magazine cover which depicts the Trump White House with Moscow’s Saint Basil’s onion domes on rooftop. The apocryphal implication is that “the White House was transforming into Kremlin” (The Independent) –

https://www.facebook.com/groups/171577496293504/permalink/1306407259477183/

TIME’s cover was both a day late and a dollar short. Make that, 24 years late and 2,200 miles (3,500 km) off the mark. Back in Jan 1993, the Truth in Media published this cartoon depicting the Bush/Clinton White House as a branch office of the Saudis. The headline read: United Emirates of America.

TRIPARTITE ALLIANCE MADE IN HELL: ISRAEL – SAUDI ARABIA – U.S.

TRUMP’S FOREIGN POLICY REVEALED IN DEED IF NOT WORD

The world’s fate hangs on a real estate salesman’s grasp of world affairs

Were the kings and czars of yesteryears any wiser?

Sometimes a simple math can apply to diplomacy and global politics.

If A = B, and B = C, therefore, A = C.

Now substitute, Israel for A, Saudi Arabia for B, and Trump’s foreign policy for C – and what you will get is the reason Trump chose to make his first foreign trip first to Saudi Arabia and then to Israel.

That – in a nutshell – is what we can expect for the next four years. That’s the wheat and the meat of Trump’s foreign policy. The rest is just chaff and fluff. Distractions and diversions.

Trump signs in Tel Aviv

THE ENEMY OF MY ENEMY IS MY FRIEND

It is well known that Iran has been a sworn enemy of both Israel and Saudi Arabia for decades. And since the U.S. government has hitched its wagon to these two middle-eastern countries, ever since 1979, Iran has been a sworn enemy of the United States as well.

So is an enemy of my enemy my friend? You betcha/

Donald Trump has been castigating Iran both during his campaign and since taking office.  It’s one of the few consistent messages he has delivered in the last 12 months.

It is also well known that Saudi Arabia, in cahoots with the U.S. government (Obama-Hillary), has been behind the so-called ISIS insurgency in Syria. And that Trump has personal business interests in Saudi.

As John Hall, an FB friend of mine from Texas put it today, “President-elect Donald Trump registered eight companies during his presidential campaign that appear to be tied to hotel interests in Saudi Arabia, according to a report in The Washington Post.”They buy apartments from me,” Trump said during the Alabama rally. “They spend $40 million, $50 million. Am I supposed to dislike them? I like them very much.”

What is less well known, however, thanks to our lamestream media coverups, is that Israel is also a part of this satanic alliance (see “The ISIS Islamic Terrorists are Supported by the US, Israel and Saudi Arabia,” Times of Israel,  https://shar.es/1RbHos, Sep 2014).

No wonder Syrian Permanent Representative to the UN, Bashar al-Jaafari, on Apr 12 of this year, accused Israel of supporting Islamic State (ISIS) in Syria and indirectly, but significantly, aiding the terrorist group (see Jerusalem Post, Apr 13, 2017 – https://goo.gl/GH68bt).

This, of course, was followed by silence by the American lamestream media.

INCINDIARY ALLIANCES

So what do we have now brewing in this middle-eastern bloody bordello?

In word, a major conflict. Perhaps even a world war.

Israel and Saudi Arabia, who officially have no diplomatic relations, have become friends because of the common enemies. And Trump holding hands with both, facing off Iran, Russia and Syria on the other side, while Turkey is wavering in between the two camps.

It’s the incendiary stuff world wars are made of.  And here we have a mere real estate salesman in the middle of this brouhaha with his finger on the red button.

God save us all… mostly from stupidity and arrogance of such people.

Or not. Maybe we should all get what we deserve, especially the Trump supporters.

After all, I also voted for “Don the Con.” It was only the second first time in my life that a politician has been able to pull the wool over my eyes. (The first time was Pierre Trudeau in 1978).

I am not proud of either mistake and am ready to take my punishment from the Divine.

TRUMP: Make Israel Great Again – read posters in Tel Aviv (Nov 2016)
US President Donald Trump landed in Israel today, welcomed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the entire cabinet after the Israeli leader made it mandatory for all ministers to attend the reception, having learned that some planned to skip the ceremony.
With a large military contingent as honor guards lined up outside the Air Force One, Netanyahu said “welcome, our good friend” as he shook hands with Trump.
Trump and his daughter Ivanka, who converted to Judaism as she married Jared Kushner, now also a Trump advisor, later prayed at the holiest of Jewish sites – Jerusalem’s Western Wall.
“I wonder what Trump and his Jewish daughter Ivanka prayed for?” tweeted Anna Ahronheim, an Israeli military correspondent (@AAhronheim).
ALTZAR: All this public display of Trump’s “Jewishness” will obviously play well in New York. But I wonder how many supporters Trump will have lost across the country as a result?

TIME MAGAZINE COVER SHOWS BOTH MALICE AND IGNORANCE

This morning, TIME tweeted its new cover with a comment, “it’s been a decade since @TIME did not have a cover line” – http://ti.me/2rugiU5.

The implication: Picture is worth a thousand words.

Yet, this image is also a picture of malice and ignorance.

Malice, because the lamestream media have been biting at Trump incessantly like a pack of hyenas trying to widen the rift with Russia which Obama had opened.

Ignorance, because the onion domes shown in the picture are NOT the Kremlin. They are part of Saint Basil’s Cathedral which lies across from the Kremlin on the southeast side of the Red Square.

So I tweeted back to TIME about its cover:

“Provocative? Yes. True? No. If you cared about the truth, you might have painted the Star of David over the Trump White House.”

AYATOLLAH KLINTONMEINI

After the Clinton administration allowed the Iranians, among some supposed U.S. “enemies” to arm the Muslims in Bosnia, the Truth in Media published another cartoon depicting Bill Clinton as “Ayatollah Klintonmeini” (Apr 1996 – http://www.truthinmedia.org/Bulletins/tim96-04a.html).

Here’s an excerpt from that 21-year old editorial:

“Ironically, it is containing and defanging the new Russia that “Ayatollah Klintonmeini’s” infatuation with Islam is all about. As is the whole Balkan affair, a mere segment of the gigantic “Green Interstate” which the globalists are building – a Muslim sphere of influence stretching from Pakistan to Bosnia. We already “own” all the former Soviet Islamic republics, Pakistan and Afghanistan in Russia’s southern soft underbelly. And we also “own” Turkey. That’s the “Islamic Ring” around Russia’s southern neck (see the map).

In Eastern Europe, the former Soviet dominions on Russia’s western frontier are now also all American/German minions. These “would-be” new NATO members will form an “Iron Ring” around Russia’s Euro-neck – from the Baltic to the Black Sea.

But, there are three “rogue” countries which intersect the “Green Interstate” of would-be American geopolitical influence – Iran, Iraq and Serbia. Which is why they have been subjected to various reprisals.”

9/11 & PERPETUAL WAR

ALTZAR: Of course, the entire pro-Islamic scheme went up in smoke on 9/11. So the New World Order hate-mongers changed their tack. Now the Muslims are suddenly the bad guys and terrorists. Ever since the U.S. has led its minions into a never ending war against terrorism, validating another Truth in Media moniker from 1993.

We said back then that the true New World Order slogan is not “world peace through world trade,” as its leader alleged. It is:

PERPETUAL WAR FOR PERPETUAL COMMERCE

KOSOVO REVISITED… ON A SOCCER PITCH

THE UNDYING POWER OF THE INTERNET

It’s truly amazing to witness the undying power of the Internet. This morning, for example, I received an email from a lady whom I have never heard of before. Her name is Jen Miller. She edits the website http://www.jenreviews.com.  Here’s what she wrote in part about an article I published in the Truth in Media almost 7 years ago:

I was searching the web for information on Austria and saw your great post here: http://www.truthinmedia.org/Bulletins2010/Kosovo_Kangaroo.html (Kosovo): “Might Is Right” UN Court Rules, July 25, 2010

I had completely forgotten about that story. Yet Ms Miller’s comment brought it back to light illustrating the UNDYING POWER of the Internet. Which, in turn, caused me to update the information on this topic – Kosovo’s so-called “independence” – delivered to the local Albanian by combined military action of the United States and NATO.

As of February 27, 2017, a full 9 years after Kosovo’s declaration of independence with strong support of the U.S. government, only 111 out of 193 (57.5%) United Nations (UN) member states have given it a diplomatic recognition, 23 out of 28 (82%) European Union (EU) member states, 24 out of 28 (86%) NATO member states, and 36 out of 57 (63%) Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) member states.

The reason is that, the U.S. pressure notwithstanding, many of the countries have their own “Kosovo’s” – regions that are striving for independence. So recognizing Kosovo could open a can of worms for them.

Take Israel, for example. For, all intents and purposes, this is the country that runs the U.S. foreign policy, especially now with Donald Trump as president.  “Israel will not recognize Kosovo’s independence at this time, in part because of the possibility of Palestinians using recognition of Kosovo to justify their own unilateral declaration of independence,” according to a Jerusalem Post Feb 19, 2008 article.

On 28 April 2009, Arthur Koll, the Israeli ambassador to Serbia, said it had been more than a year since Kosovo unilaterally declared independence, and that Israel had no intention of recognizing that independence and that “Israel is asked from time to time how solid this decision is, but the fact is that Israel’s position has not changed throughout this time. The Serbian people and government should appreciate Israel’s position, which also demonstrates the friendship between the two states.” (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_recognition_of_Kosovo).

Other U.S. allies with similar problems (Turkey and Iraq, for example, with their Kurdish minorities) bit the bullet and yielded to the U.S. pressure.

THEY BROUGHT JIHAD INTO EUROPE

Clinton Bush Obama Hillary

Either way, the tiny Kosovo is and will continue to be one of the world’s hottest potatoes. Because it is the most recent example of the egregious abuse of military force by the global superpowers to grab and occupy a sovereign territory of a small country (Serbia).  Just as other the colonial powers had been doing for centuries (Britain, Spain, France, Belgium, Holland, etc.).

UN Court at the Hague Rules NATO’s Occupation, Kosovo’s Secession from Serbia Was “Legal”

Kosovo: “Might Is Right” UN Court Rules

Kangaroo Court Judges Jumps Again on Washington Masters’ Cue, Making Mockery of International Justice

HAIKU, MAUI, July 25 – The 15 United Nations Kangaroo Court judges at the Hague have just written the “might is right”-legal principle into the UN Charter.  Last week, they upheld the unilateral secession of Kosovo from Serbia, declared by Kosovo Albanians in February 2008, and backed by Washington and its allies.  It is a nonbinding ruling, however, by a toothless UN paper tiger.

Yet, the ramifications of this decision stretch well beyond Serbia and Kosovo.  For, that’s as if Mexico, for example, were to militarily conquer Arizona, and then have this American state pull out of the Union by unilateral declaration (Aztlan: America’s Kosovo, May 2000, and “Kosovo: ‘Bosnia II’, Serbia’s Aztlan”, Mar 1998).

No wonder that only 69 U.S. minions have recognized Kosovo two-and-a-half years since its declaration of independence.  That’s about a third of the nearly 200 countries that comprise the UN these days.  Among some prominent nations that did not recognize this NATO land grab are Security Council members Russia and China, each with a veto power.  Even some NATO member-nations with troops in Kosovo, such as Spain, Italy or Greece, did not recognize this breakaway Serbian territory as legally independent.

Why not?  Because there are also dozens of minorities in various countries in Europe and elsewhere around the world that can now use the Kosovo example as a legal precedent to stake their independence claims (see the map, right, and the Christian Science Monitor story Kosovo independence legal, says UN court. What will Russia do? (CSM, July 22).

Sound like a recipe for continued conflict and strife in the future?  You betcha.  Which is exactly what the New World Order bullies want… more war, more business for their sponsors – the death merchants and the bankers who finance them.  We noted more than 15 years ago that “perpetual war for perpetual commerce” was the real NWO motto (see Stitching Together New World Order Flag), not “world peace through world trade,” as they tend to preach.

In order to put the UN Court’s latest decision in a proper geopolitical context, here’s a brief historical overview…

UPDATE MAY 18, 2017

TIME MAGAZINE COVER SHOWS BOTH MALICE AND IGNORANCE

This morning, TIME tweeted its new cover with a comment, “it’s been a decade since @TIME did not have a cover line” – http://ti.me/2rugiU5.

So London’s Independent stepped in and provided one: “Time magazine releases striking cover showing White House transforming into Kremlin.”

TRUMP STARTS HIS FIRST FOREIGN TRIP IN SAUDI ARABIA, ISRAEL

By the way, guess where Donald Trump is at the moment? In the air, on his way to Saudi Arabia, the first stop on his first foreign trip.

Guess where his second stop will be? Israel.

‘Nuff said?

TRIPARTITE ALLIANCE MADE IN HELL: ISRAEL – SAUDI ARABIA – U.S.

TRUMP’S FOREIGN POLICY REVEALED

Sometimes a simple math can apply to diplomacy and global politics.

If A = B, and B = C, therefore, A = C.

Now substitute, Israel for A, Saudi Arabia for B, and Trump’s foreign policy for C – and what you will get is the reason Trump chose to make his first foreign trip first to Saudi Arabia and then Israel.

That – in a nutshell – is what we can expect for the next four years  That’s the wheat and the meat of Trump’s foreign policy. The rest is just chaff and fluff. Distraction and diversion.

They say action speaks louder than words. Trump’s first overseas trip is the action that says it all.  And so do the Saudi and Israeli politics.

TRUMP STARTS HIS FIRST FOREIGN TRIP IN SAUDI ARABIA, ISRAEL

Guess where Donald Trump is at the moment? In the air, on his way to Saudi Arabia, the first stop on his first foreign trip.

Guess where his second stop will be? Israel.

‘Nuff said?

“The more the world changes, the more it stays the same” (Jean-Baptiste Alphonse Karr, 1808-1890)

UPDATE JUNE 25, 2018

LIKE UN, LIKE FIFA

FIFA fines 3 Swiss players for controversial pro-Kosovo Albanian eagle celebration gestures

But once again, the Serbian Soccer Federation fined much more

It was the Kosovo-Albanians and the German umpire that provoked the ire if the Serbian fans at the World Cup match in Russia on Saturday.  But it was the Serbian soccer federation that received the stiffest fine from FIFA, the world governing soccer body.

MOSCOW (AP) — FIFA has fined three Switzerland players for making hand gestures of an Albanian national symbol to celebrate World Cup goals against Serbia, and cleared them to continue playing.

Granit Xhaka andXherdan Shaqiri made hand gestures of a two-headed eagle after scoring second-half goals, and Lichtsteiner joined in the celebration.

Xhaka and Shaqiri received a warning and a fine of 10,000 Swiss francs ($10,100) for unsporting behavior, in a judgment Monday by FIFA’s disciplinary panel. Switzerland captain Stephan Lichtsteiner was warned and fined 5,000 Swiss francs ($5,050).

But FIFA also fined the Serbian football federation 54,000 Swiss francs ($54,700) for incidents involving its fans at the same game.

And Serbian coach Mladen Krstajic and federation president Slavisa Kokeza were each fined 5,000 Swiss francs ($5,060), and warned by FIFA for “unsporting behavior due to statements made” about the referee

ARE SERBS STILL DESIGNATED VILLAINS, EVEN ON A SOCCER PITCH?

Which brought memories of a similar travesty of “justice” the Serbs had received from the UN War Crimes Tribunal at the Hague.  Other belligerents in the Balkans wars of the 1990s (Muslims, Croats and Albanians) got either “free out of jail”-cards, or “slap on the wrist”-sentences.

Which gave rise to this writer’s editorial “Put the UN Justice’ on Trial,” published nearly 20 years ago (Aug 1998). And also this editorial late last year.

BIGGEST WAR CRIMINALS STILL FREE

But the greatest miscarriage of justice is that the biggest villains, the ones who pulled the strings of their puppets who caused the Balkan wars of the 1990s, and who later on led the 78-day long bombing of Serbia by NATO in 1999, are still at large (see NATO WAR AGAINST SERBIA – 15 YEARS LATER: WHY? – https://wp.me/p3QU1S-eA, March 2014).

Here are some of them:

Victors’ justice on display at the Hague? You betcha. As Solon (a Greek philosopher – c.630 BC- c.555 BC) noted some 28 centuries ago:

“Laws are like spider webs. If some poor weak creature comes up against them – it is caught. But the bigger one can break through and get away.” (Solon)

Serbia was charged for fans’ “display of discriminatory banners and messages by Serbian supporters as well as for throwing objects during the match,” FIFA said.

Both the Switzerland and Serbia teams downplayed any political factors before the game last Friday. Shaqiri had posted a photograph on Instagram of his playing boots, one with a Switzerland flag on the heel and the other with a Kosovo flag.

However, a tense back-and-forth game saw Xhaka level the game in the second half and Shaqiri win it with a 90th-minute goal.

Serbian officials and fans were angered by refereeing decisions during the game and FIFA issued more verdicts Monday.

JUNE 23, 2018

Switzerland’s World Cup win over Serbia in Kaliningrad has been overshadowed by celebrations made by the two Swiss goal-scorers, Granit Xhaka and Xherdan Shaqiri, both of whom are of ethnic Albanian descent.

Both players are of Kosovan-Albanian descent, and appeared to make a winged salute symbolizing the eagle on the Albanian flag.

Shaqiri, who was actually born in Kosovo when it was part of Serbia, also played in boots marked with the flags of Switzerland and Kosovo – the breakaway region that is not recognized as independent by dozens of countries, including Serbia, Russia, Spain and others.

The players’ celebrations sparked debate on Twitter, with some questioning the need to mix politics with football, and asking whether world football governing body FIFA would take action.

Xhaka, 25, was born in Basel, Switzerland to Kosovan-Albanian parents.

His brother Taulant, 27, plays for Albania and the pair are hugely proud of their heritage.

Stoke City ace Shaqiri, 26, was born in Kosovo when it was part of Serbia in the former Yugoslavia and emigrated to Switzerland in 1992 with his parents and three siblings.
