PLUTOCRACY, THY FACE IS OBAMA
When was the last time you’ve heard of an American president holding a four-hour live “town hall meeting” with the whole nation?
Never, of course, is the correct answer.
Now contrast that with what the Russian president Putin has just done (Apr 16). He held a four-hour live televised “town hall meeting”earlier today with his countrymen, fielding hundreds of questions selected from some three million the Russian network received before and during the broadcast.
And, by the way, this is Putin’s ANNUAL event, not a one-off show.
By contrast, American president’s appearances of American politicians are brief, delivered to carefully selected audiences, like the White House press corps, and scripted to make sure he “stays on point” (look at the teleprompters in front of Obama in the photo below).
Meaning, the American president’s agenda is dictated by his New World Order puppet masters and White House handlers. In public, they are not much different than the Hollywood actors playing the role of a president. So the American public rarely gets to see the real Obama, or Bush or Clinton.
No wonder nobody bothers to watch such charades. At least nobody among this writer’s friends and family. They are as boring and predictable as were the “elections” in the Soviet Union or North Korea.
When was the last time you tuned in to a presidential White House press conference?
Not so in Russia, ironically the country that practically invented such top-down public brainwashing during the seven decades of the Soviet rule. Check out this London Guardian report about it – Vladimir Putin’s phone-in with Russia – as it happened. No sense in wasting time on the gibberish the US establishment media publishes about Russia. Remember, their reports are also scripted to “stay on point” in line with the New World Order agenda.
Bottom line?
Populism, thy face is Putin. Plutocracy, thy face is Obama.
Internet and TV at Their Best
Another thing that was impressive about this Putin TV show was the technological sophistication that was required to bring it all about. It was the Internet and Television at their best.
Can you imagine millions of Americans simultaneously participating in a live video conference? Hard to believe, right? But that’s what happened this evening in Russia.
And yet we are being told that America is the technological leader of the world!?
Well, maybe we are. But our political system is evidently not free enough to allow us to take advantage of it as the Russians are doing it.
If in doubt, and if you’ve got half a day to spare, check out this Youtube video of the entire four-hour Putin show in Russia this evening their time. Which was posted right after the live show ended.
By the way, do you have any idea how long such a 4-hr video would take to upload to Youtube using normal internet speeds? Or be uploaded at all? (“More than 40 hours have passed and the video is still in only available in 240p and 360p” – reported one unhappy Youtube user, for example).
You can fast-forward to about 6 minute-mark when the actual Q&A starts.
And no, you don’t have to speak Russian to be able to understand it. There is a simultaneous voiceover English translation. In fact, if you take out one of your headset earplugs, splitting up the stereo channel, you will be able to hear it entirely in English.
