TRUMP CAMPAIGN SHAKEUP: CANDIDATE’S HEART WINS OVER PARTY EFFORTS TO PACKAGE AND GIFT-WRAP HIM
“I DID IT MY WAY” – should be the final song of Trump’s presidential campaign
Too bad Frank Sinatra won’t be with us on November 8. Because he and his song “I Did It My Way” would be a perfect curtain-dropping act of Donald Trump’s presidential campaign. So I bring you Frank now, along with the lyrics of that song, so we can all hum it along the way to election day.

Donald Trump may be the Republican Party candidate. But only in name. For, you’d never know it by the way he has been treated by the GOP party congressional leaders and officials.
Those who offered him support did so holding their noses. Many rejected Trump’s candidacy outright. Which means by implication those Republicans tacitly endorsed Hillary Clinton, the Democratic party nominee over whose candidacy more than half the nation are holding their noses.
The third group of GOP officials went by the old adage, “if you can’t beat then, join them.” So they tried to stuff Trump’s campaign with professional managers in the hope of influencing and molding the candidates’s style and message.
That’s what the GOP also did – successfully – with Ronald Reagan, both during the campaign and later when he assumed office. But not with Trump. What happened this week in Trump’s campaign shatter any illusions the GOP may have had they they will mold and control Trump and his message.
***
Trump demoted his campaign chairman, Paul Manafort, who resigned today (Aug 19), and elevated pollster Kellyanne Conway Stephen Bannon, chairman of Breitbart News. He went back to basics and his old trusted friends.
***
“I am who I am. It’s me,” Donald Trump said on a Wisconsin talk radio interview on Tuesday. “I don’t wanna change. Everybody talks about, ‘Oh well, you’re gonna pivot, you’re gonna’ — I don’t wanna pivot. I mean, you have to be you. If you start pivoting, you’re not being honest with people.”
Vintage Trump. And he must be doing something right judging by the screams of the liberal establishment media writers. They are no longer reporting the news about Trump. They are editorializing every paragraph by inserting negative adjectives and phrases into each story.
POWER OF ADJECTIVES
Let me give you an example of how that’s done. Here’s the same news paragraph I put between the asterisks above as it was actually published by the Washington Times on Wed. I have set the editorializing adjectives in capitals, starting with the headline:
New campaign shake-up, same old AWFUL Trump
“He demoted his MUCH-MALIGNED campaign chairman, Paul Manafort, and elevated pollster Kellyanne Conway and — NO, SERIOUSLY — Stephen Bannon, TRUMP’S PAL AND chairman of THE MUCH-MOCKED TRUMP-CHEERLEADING OUTLET Breitbart News.”
See what I mean? That’s how the news and the reader’s perceptions are manipulated by the establishment media. I learned the art of reading between the lines while working as a war correspondent in the 1990s.
That’s what happened with Bosnia news. That’s what happened with Chechnya news. That’s what happened in Kosovo. That’s what’s happening in Ukraine and Russia. The villains are created and demonized by use of adjectives.
The adjectives are the media editors’ weapons of mass destruction (of the truth).
And that’s why I no longer bother to read their stories except in cases like this – to help educate the public from being brainwashed and manipulated with the NWO agenda. (see New campaign shake-up, same old awful Trump http://wpo.st/Coss1 [Washington Post, Aug 17, 2016].
WHAT’S TO BE DONE
Six months ago, I asked that question in a Truth in Media editorial “IS TRUMP ACTUALLY A TROJAN HORSE? (Feb 2016). At the time, he had ruled out running as an independent. And as we all know, both Democrats and the Republicans work for the same masters on Wall Street. So I wrote in that editorial:
I have been saying for the last quarter century “anybody but a Democrat or a Republican.” That truism also holds for election 2016.
“Those who deformed us cannot reform us,” read a crude white painted slogan on a Prague wall during the 1989 Velvet Revolution.
So the only person who can truly change the corrupt political system in America is an outsider, neither a Democrat or a Republican.
Well, what Trump has now done with this week’s reshuffling of his campaign leadership is prove that he IS actually running as an independent candidate even though he has draped himself with GOP’s red robe. Putting it his own words… (Aug 17):
“I am who I am. It’s me,” Donald Trump said on a Wisconsin talk radio interview on Tuesday. “I don’t wanna change. Everybody talks about, ‘Oh well, you’re gonna pivot, you’re gonna’ — I don’t wanna pivot. I mean, you have to be you. If you start pivoting, you’re not being honest with people.”
Well, well… up until now, I expected to vote on Nov 8 for “anybody but a Democrat or a Republican,” as I have been doing in the last three decades. But now I am not so sure anymore. If Trump continues to stay true to himself and does it “his way” between now and November, for the first time in my life, I may be persuaded to vote for an establishment party candidate (at least in name) – but only because he is so ANTI-ESTABLISHMENT.

TRUMP-BASHING BY ESTABLISHMENT MEDIA
Until now, we could easily ignore all those bleeding heart liberals and other intolerant factions that make up the Democratic Party’s “borsht” (Russian stew). They have been screaming in desperation and posting hateful messages against Trump for the last year or so. Which proved that they were anything but liberal-minded.
And that, of course, includes the establishment media. Their reporting has been highly biased against Trump. Some even stooped as low as to use profanities. Which only cheapened their arguments.
Furthermore, ALL of the “lamestream” media posted photos of Trump in the most unflattering angry poses – scowling, shouting, threatening – evidently trying to associate him with images of past dictators in history.
That was no “coincidence.” It was and is a carefully orchestrated hate campaign against Trump by the media that’s supposed to be neutral when it comes to news reporting. The Republican establishment is finding itself in the same boat as the liberal media. Trump is winning and everybody is panicking.
NEW WORLD ORDER CREED FITS TRUMP TO A TEE
The New World Order Creed fits Trump to a tee.
Here’s what I wrote on the topic of New World Order “religion” in my Washington Times column “CHRISTIANITY UNDER SIEGE, TOWARD – A ONE WORLD RELIGION” – Jan 1998 – http://www.truthinmedia.org/Columns/christianity_under_siege.html:
Their creed is ‘I believe in nothing!’ Their crest: The Almighty Dollar. Their object of worship: The Golden Calf. Their holy shrine: Wall Street. Their holy water: Coca-Cola. Their disciples: Washington politicians.
In their world, everything is for sale. Nothing is sacred. Faceless uniformity and blind loyalty are the norm, as in communist dictatorships. If God were to (re)create the world by the designs of the “Princes of the 20th Century” — the multinationals who sit at the head table of the New World Order, there would be only three kinds of creatures:
- All two-legged creatures would be ostriches
- All four-legged ones would be sheep
- All sea-living creatures would be sardines, anxiously waiting in long lines at the Princes’ canning factory docks for their turn to jump into cans, and be exported to some distant low-cal, low-brow; low-IQ, but immensely happy consumer society. Thanks to a steady diet of CNN served with Coca-Cola.”
I repeated this assessment in my speech to the Reform Party Convention in May 2000, when Pat Buchanan was running for president…
…to a standing ovation by the delegates in attendance, including Pat Buchanan.

WHAT’S TO BE DONE?
Feb 24, 2016
Let me net it out the way I see it…
I have been saying for the last quarter century “anybody but a Democrat or a Republican.” That truism also holds for election 2016. Which means neither Sanders nor Trump – the two frontrunners are the moment.
More importantly, all candidates will say whatever it takes to get themselves elected. But once in office, how much can they be trusted to keep their promises?
All of those who voted Obama now know the pain of disappointment over broken promises. As do those who voted for the two Bush’s and Clinton before them. I have voted for none of them. So my conscience is clear.
Sanders, like the Clintons, is a party loyalist trying to look like an outsider to distinguish himself from Hillary. Trump is a card-carrying member of the billionaires club – the 563 plutocrats, out of 319 million of us, who have been getting richer while most of the American people are getting poorer.
“Those who deformed us cannot reform us,” read a crude white painted slogan on a Prague wall during the 1989 Velvet Revolution.
So the only person who can truly change the corrupt political system in America is an outsider, neither a Democrat or a Republican.
WHAT TO DO ON NOV 8?
Bottom line? Vote for any third party candidate who emerges between now and November.
Or don’t vote at all. Which is what the majority of Americans has already done. Over 63% of us boycotted the 2014 midterm elections, the lowest turnout since 1824 (see DISGUST & APATHY: BIG WINNERS IN 2014 ELECTIONS).
That’s because voting for either a Democrat or a Republican will only serve to legitimize the New World Order’s electoral farce and tighten the plutocrats’ noose around our collective necks. A silent protest is better than a vote for an oppressor.
What do I think would actually happen?
Trump will get the Republican nomination. And I will sit on my hands again come Nov 8 – see http://wp.me/p3QU1S-1fl
