WORDS OF PRESIDENTIAL WISDOM WE DID NOT HEED…

…AND WHY WE HAVE FAILED TO HONOR AND PROTECT THEIR LEGACIES

Abe, Ike, JFK, among others, warned us – the future generations of Americans.10407451_897912153554308_3185864673860997226_n
We did not heed their words of wisdom. We shrugged and shrank from our duties as free people. We turned into couch potatoes and allowed the corporations to usurp our liberties and democratic processes, and turn this erstwhile Republic into a plutocracy.

Which is why and how today we have a CRIMINAL GOVERNMENT in Washington instead of the “government of the people, by the people, for the people.”

WHAT SOME PAST PRESIDENTS SAID ABOUT OUR CRIMINAL GOVERNMENT’S SECRECY & CONTROL

jfk-secret-societies-speech-full-a-k-a-the-president-and-the-press-youtube JOHN F. KENNEDY

“The very word “secrecy” is repugnant in a free and open society; and we are as a people inherently and historically opposed to secret societies, to secret oaths and to secret proceedings.

We decided long ago that the dangers of excessive and unwarranted concealment of pertinent facts far outweighed the dangers which are cited to justify it.

Even today, there is little value in opposing the threat of a closed society by imitating its arbitrary restrictions.

Even today, there is little value in insuring the survival of our nation if our traditions do not survive with it. And there is very grave danger that an announced need for increased security will be seized upon by those anxious to expand its meaning to the very limits of official censorship and concealment.

That I do not intend to permit to the extent that it is in my control.”

Excerpt from John F. Kennedy’s address to the American Newspaper Publishers Association, April 27, 1961

Lincoln-Corporations ABRAHAM LINCOLN

“We may congratulate ourselves that this cruel war is nearing its end. It has cost a vast amount of treasure and blood. . . . It has indeed been a trying hour for the Republic; but I see in the near future a crisis approaching that unnerves me and causes me to tremble for the safety of my country.

As a results of the war, corporations have been enthroned and an era of corruption in high places will follow, and the money power of the country will endeavor to prolong its reign by working upon prejudices of the people until all wealth is aggregated in a few hands and the Republic is destroyed.

I feel at this moment more anxiety for the safety of my country than ever before, even in the midst of war. God grant that my suspicions may prove groundless.”

U.S. President Abraham Lincoln, Nov. 21, 1864 (letter to Col. William F. Elkins)

The preceding are some of the words of wisdom we did not heed. We shrugged and shrank from our duties as free people. We turned into couch potatoes and allowed the corporations to usurp our liberties and democratic processes, and turn this erstwhile Republic into a plutocracy.
