Was duplicitous CIA actually behind this atrocity?
Eleven people have been detained over the terrorist attack on the Crocus City Hall concert venue outside Moscow, Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) has said in a statement.
The arrested suspects include “four terrorists who were directly involved,” the statement read. Investigative work to track down other accomplices are ongoing, it added.
Following the bloodbath at the popular concert venue, “the perpetrators tried to escape by car, fleeing towards the Russian-Ukrainian border,” the FSB said on Saturday. “The criminals intended to cross the Russia-Ukraine border and had relevant contacts on the Ukrainian side,” it added.

The above is the latest update to the news about the atrocity committed by armed terrorists on Friday night at a concert venue outside of Moscow in which at least 133 innocent civilians lost their lives and hundreds were injured.
The American media, starting with the “liberal” CNN, New York Times and Washington Post, immediately tried to paint the Biden administration and his CIA operatives as the “good guys” who tried to forewarn Russia about a planned attack. But alas, the designated bogey, Vladimir Putin, four days ago supposedly was stupid enough to dismiss this “friendly” gesture as American “propaganda.”
According to this narrative, these terrorists were Sunny Muslims with a base in Afghanistan. And the story was supposed to elicit feelings of admiration for the work of CIA and the humanitarianism of the Biden administration.
Alas, for those for whom this is not the first rodeo with such goons as the American CIA and the White House officials, the whole narrative seemed just too well rehearsed, to well prepared in advance,, too much of good story to be true.
And today, as we start to peel this rotten Washington onion, an entirely different picture is emerging.

Let’s look at the facts. The FSB (the Russian equivalent of the FBI) were quick enough to catch and arrest these terrorists before they crossed a border. Russian politician Alexander Khinshtein said the attackers had fled in a Renault vehicle that was spotted by police in the Bryansk region, about 340km (210 miles) southwest of Moscow on Friday night and disregarded calls to stop.
He said two people were arrested after a car chase and two others fled into a forest. From the Kremlin account, they were later detained.
Khinshtein said a pistol, a magazine for an assault rifle, and passports from Tajikistan – a Central Asian state that used to be part of the Soviet Union – were found in the car.
The assault drew condemnation and shock from world leaders and the United Nations Security Council “condemned in the strongest terms the heinous and cowardly terrorist attack”.
WAS CIA ACTUALLY MASTERMINDING THIS ATROCITY?
Now, bear with me for a few moments. The “Pet a Manger” news story which the Biden administration planted into the obsequious US liberal media was intended to elicit admiration for the CIA. After all, to have forewarned the Russian two weeks ago about such a possible attack meant that the CIA must have had a mole inside ISIS. How else would they have known about an impending attack in Russia at a concert venue?
Or…
What if the CIA did not have a mole at all but was, in fact, masterminding the whole thing in collaboration with its patsies in Kiev? And the whole schmalzy story about forewarning Russia was, in fact, a cover story intended to hide CIA’s and Ukraine’s complicity in this horrendous crime.
Acknowledging the warning from the US, a Russian security source said that the information “did not contain specifics”, the RIA Novosti reported. In other words, it was not actionable intelligence.
But the timing of the attack was perfect for someone who wanted to hurt Putin in the worse way possible – coming just five days after his electoral victory when the Russian president was still basking in the glory and admiration of millions of Russians.
Fortunately, we are probably not going to wait a long time to get the truth about this heinous crime. Because the four terrorists and its seven accomplices are likely to start singing soon like nightingales in the cells of the FSB.
On Saturday, RT Editor-in-Chief Margarita Simonyan posted footage of the interrogation of one of the suspects. The man in the video claims that he went on the killing spree after he was promised 500,000 rubles ($5,400). The suspect also claimed that his handlers had instructed him as to where the attack should take place. He said he was ordered to “kill people there… doesn’t matter who.” The suspect claimed that the terrorist act was organized on Telegram with an unknown person who provided weapons.
IF SO, WHAT SHOULD PUTIN DO?
If it turns out that the Americans and their Ukrainian patsies were indeed behind this murderous attack which took the lives of so many innocent Russian civilians, what should Putin do?
Let us hope that Putin will not hesitate this time to retaliate as if he means it. Not just with a slap on a wrist as he has been doing till now every time Ukraine carried out some terrorist attack inside Russia.
How should he do it?
There is an old Australian saying, “the best way to kill a snake is to cut off its head.”
The metaphorical snake in this instance is Zelensky and his neo-Nazi cohorts. And the distant snake charmer is the Biden administration and it European NATO partners.
If my theory is right, Putin should not hesitate to rain bloody hell on the heads of these perpetrators who murdered so many innocent Russian civilians.
Does that mean World War III?
Not if Biden blinks. Just like Khrushchev did during the Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962.
The question is – does Putin have the “cojones” for such a play as JFK did over six decades ago?

Investigators establish link between Moscow terrorist attack suspects and Ukrainian nationalists
Large sums of money were transferred to the Crocus City Hall attackers from Ukraine, the Russian Investigative Committee has said
The investigators have obtained “substantiated evidence” that the suspected assailants received funding from Ukraine in the form of cryptocurrency, which was then used to prepare the terrorist attack, the statement read.
Law enforcement officers also identified and detained another suspect who was allegedly involved in financing the attack, the Investigative Committee said, without identifying the individual.
Earlier, the head of Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB), Aleksandr Bortnikov, told reporters that the US, UK and Ukraine may have been behind the attack. The Ukrainians may have been preparing a “window” for them to cross back over the border, the official said. “On the other side, they were to be welcomed as heroes,” he added.
